I had a 300wm. I had it rebarreled in 7mm rem mag . Way more comfortable to shoot for me. But if your set on a 30 then go with a 300win.

I'm looking for any reviews on the company Custom Inlet Stocks. I'm in the market for a grayboe stock for my remington 260 build . They have the option to get it inletted for your barrel set up. Has anyone had it done and how was the fitment?

Not to get off the bullet/lands thread to much but has anyone installed the limbsaver airtech recoil pad on the Tikka T3 ? If so does it fit nice and look like it belongs on the rifle?

I would probably try them. I didn't think the eldx's were going to shoot because I was so far off lands. They are working great so far.

I looked into that. It looks like there is a metal tab that runs down the front of the magizine right where the tip of the bullet would be. It has been shooting pretty good so I will leave it alone. A Barnes hollow point or a something of that design would probably get you closer to lands.
