In a word FANTASTIC! I have a .243 Axiom and I love it. It shoots .58 at 100 yards with off the shelf at Walmart Remmington ammo. It might even shoot better than that but I can't shoot better than that. I woud buy one again in a heartbeat. Good luck.

LRF is a little bigger, it is the older model. It will not fit in a shirt pocket. That being said, it will work fine. CRF is the newer smaller model no ranging advantage, just a little more expensive.

Mainly I will punch paper. However I want to take it to Alaska shoot moose,caribou and maybe brown bear.

I want to build a Tackdriver. Primarly shooting at 600 and 1000 yards. I would like to build it between .27 and .30. I am looking for muz-velocity 3500 or faster.What is out there in that speed range and where do I find load data on it? Thanks Rich

I am looking for information on the Ackley improved round. This is the first place I have heard of it. Where can I find loading data and peformance. Also I have heard of another round called a Mystic. I have also heard of an Allen mag Any info is appreciated.

I have seen ATN scopes up close calling them junk is a disservice to junk every where. There are a lot decent value priced scopes out there, make sure you look through them before you plunk down your hard earned money.

Has any one used a Laser Tech Impulse XL? It is supposed to range to 2000 meters.

My favorite 223 load for wolf is a 308.:) I am too much of a coward to hunt dangerous game with a varmit round.

I have had a10-22 for 30 years and it never shot better than 1.5 at 50 yards. Still its a fun gun. Best recomendation is to put a new after market barrel on it, then it will perform.

Hunting forest? If you might have a snap shot at deer sized game I would go with the lower powered scope. It is hard enough to keep running game in a 4 power let alone a 6.5. 14 power should give you range past 800 yards.

You have all missed the easiest way to hunt squirrels. I learned this when I was a kid. Climb up a tree and act like a nut.:)
