It could be any one or more of the other variables that contribute to "accuracy".
There are plenty of accurate rifles with minor imperfections in the bore.
It's probably one of the least important factors.
Many people who are completely happy with their rifles have never used a bore scope.
You can "imagine" all the accuracy you want, but that doesn't mean a "perfect" barrel will necessarily be more accurate than this one with some microscopic flaws.
