    muzzle break question

Yes the Titanium has 3 holes on top to keep the muzzle jump under control. I have put a number of the 3/4 on 338 Edges and 338 RUM and they cut the recoil way back. I keep them in stock just let me know when your ready.

    Wyatts Box

Double z My 300RUM reamer has no throat I use a throater to your specs so what ever you decide on cartridge length just send one in with your parts. I can install a Wyatts box adds about .110 in OAL if you need it for your round.

    Gunsmith Recomendation

Greg I like the Creedmoor and the 243AI have both reamers and they will both do the job your asking of them. 243AI with a 1:9 will shoot 95 gr Bergers but not the 105Gr. 6.5 Creedmoor with a 1:8 will shoot a solid 2900 fps with 140vld type bullets and take 10-15% less powder than 243AI. To...

    Gunsmith Recomendation

Would you know the twist of your barrel i have done alot of 243ai for coyote hunters and used 1:9 twist and that works for 95 gr but not the 105 gr. You could have a 1:10 and only the long bearing surface bullets are stabilizing. Just a thought

Need advice on Tactical 338 Lapua build

Thanks, I have had real good luck getting Proof,s to shoot and I think they look nice, and I know they are durable, more so than a steel barrel. Here,s a picture of a recent project 7MM WSM shoots bug holes.

Need advice on Tactical 338 Lapua build

I have put together a couple nice 338 lapua Imp, used Proof Research Barrels my Titanium Brake A3 Mcmillian the customers really liked the balance the carbon 30" barrel and the light brake gave the big gun. It's nice to have a long barrel with that rifle and have it not be muzzle heavy.

    Recoil Reduction - Muzzle Brakes

I need to make me a video, I put the 1" brake on 338 Lapua Imp and the owner said it was like shooting his 243. That's with 300 gr SMK. It will hold it's own with the Fat Basdard I installed both the little and fat for one of my tactical customers and they are also a nice brake, but 3.5 oz heavier.

    bolt closing problem

It's more than likely the shoulder than the neck length would be my guess. every time you fire the brass it work hardens a little more. When you size them they spring back and then hit the shoulder when you try to chamber them. A system to measure the shoulder length, like the Hornaday Headspace...

    muzzle break question

Thanks for the heads up Grayfox, The Titanium Brakes have been a good product for me and my Long Range projects. The 3/4" have worked perfectly all the way up to 300 RUM's and the 1" has worked to tame even the 338's we have all come to know, all without adding much more than an ounce to the...
