I'll be looking forward to some good comments too. I have shot a 25-06 for 20 years but I sold it off a few years ago (dumb I know) and I am leaning towards an Accumark in 257... so anything I can read/hear about them is of great interest! Bring it on!

Weatherby has helped me to "do the right thing" in regards to Vangard or Mark V... I'm a southpaw, so my option is Mark V.... no Vgard for me!

Is there any GREAT apps for the iPhone/iPad for Ballistics? One that lets you input the wind, temp, range etc and tells you how to adjust your scope for the shot? Thanks!

With which brand, Vortex or Nightforce?

I'm curious what the feelings are on these two optics makers. Is one better than the other? I am thinking of adding them to my line of optics but need feedback! Are both high quality? Are both tough enough for high recoil rifles? Is one better at something vs the other? Why would you buy...

What scope do you have on yours? I'm debating getting set up to carry Vortex in my shop.... but, not sure. Nightforce might be good too.... of course we are getting a bit further from my original price range... but.... We'll see!

I think the XBolt seems like a great rifle too! I have looked at them in person and love the new magazine design. I'm not much of a magazine guy unless it's on an AR, but if the hunting rifle has one, the XBolt appears to have got it right! The A Bolt with attached mag is just way messed up! Who...

I'm looking at a few options for rifles. I "probably" will be sticking to only Deer and Antelope, but someday, if all my stars align (LOL) I'd love to go Elk hunting... it's my dream. Ok, so..... I'm probably going to only buy one rifle and sadly, I like to buy GOOD, vs. semi-good.... so...

Yeah, for Sako, I am limited and yes, they are getting tough to find. I should have kept my 25-06!! I may look at other makes, but I just liked my Sako a lot! If the one I am looking at was on a '06 size action, I'd just buy it and probably eventually rebarrel it! So if you can't buy a decent...
