I’ve got some data for the 250 SBD2. 90.2grains of H1000 was giving me 2900fps in the 26” 5R 9.3 twist Bartlein I had on there. Haven’t done any loads for the 250 in my 1:8 twist yet.

Also, what does the accuracy look like? I’d take the accuracy over top speed with a good bullet.

All my buddies are running H1000 or RL33 in their SAAMI 7PRC’s. There’s a gentleman on here running N570 with good results with the heavier bullets.

Have you tried and of the cutting edge bullets in your 338?

I’m spoiled. I live in Alaska. Hunt of a lifetime would probably be Marco Polo. I’d probably bring my 375 EnABELR since I wouldn’t be carrying my camp on my back.
