I’m using RamShot Hunter when RL-26 is not around. 77.9 grs with Barnes 168 gr TTSX bullets. Very fast, very accurate in both of my Brownings.

RamShot Hunter is my go to powder for both of my 300 WM’s. It is very accurate, clean, and on the upper scale of velocity. Since I can’t get RL26 anywhere anymore, Hunter has been a very close second.

I had that very same thing happen to me a couple of months ago. M-14, .308 using Fiocci brass. Blew the magazine out through the bottom of the receiver, damaged the bolt and cracked the stock lengthwise. Turns out it was a bad brass casing. Like you, I was very fortunate that I was not injured...
