What bottom metal replaced the factory stuff you’re giving away? I’m just checking in case there’s a replacement available I don’t know about.

Alaskan models and stainless synthetic all have them. I’m interested in what bottom metal replacement the factory floor plate.

If you don’t do this already, I suggest using teflon tape on your breech plug rather than breech plug grease. Makes cleanup a lot easier if you have to pull breech plug and push out a load.

I’ve wanted to send my ranch rifle to ASI for years.

If I had to choose a side it would be SRS’s. They wanted everyone to know these products weren’t theirs. Unfortunately when you throw grenades or start kicking over trash cans you better be prepared for the blowback.

I’m all for fast second strategy and a free market, But… there’s a big difference in improving on someone’s design or business model and launching your improved, branded product( like Yeti vs Blue Coolers), or having someone create a cheaper, unbranded product then quietly start selling a copy...
