Same here. 44gr Varget with 165-168 Also made a load with 165’s and CFE223 in 16" barrel. 150 grain with TAC is good for short barrels...

I agree. The 162’s are a bit longer but slick and get good velocity in other rifles I’ve used them in. FYI… my load with the 160 GK...

I do the same with 5.56/223, 6.5 Grendel and 7.62x39 and they shoot much more accurately.

Not the OP, but I shoot a 20 inch SAUM, build in a LA, COAL 3.080, I get 2750 fps with 180 Bergers.

Might be doable… I safely get 2900 with 160 in 22" Model 7. Never tried heavier as mag length will affect powder capacity with longer...
