Which ballistic app should I use to correct for scope imperfections

A friend of mine just bought a Fierce Carbon Fury in 6.5 CM. The round they verified to 1000 yards was 147 gr ELD Match factory ammunition. He's a little concerned about using this as a hunting round, have any of you guys taken any big game animals with this round? Thanks for any comments.

220 gr. Hornady ELD-X, 103 gr. H Retumbo, Fed 215M primers, Wby brass, 3140fps. I've shot this load well below MOA out to 660 yards.

I have both and I like Pro Hunt much better because of locking feature and the ease of changing leg lengths. Both Javelin bipods are great, easy to attach and lightweight.

I have 3 sets of Harris Swivel bipods with the pod lock they work very well but I don't like that they are heavy and dig into your shoulder while hunting. Two years ago I bought my first Javelin bipod and I like them much better because they are made of carbon fiber and they attach to a swivel...

I own several Harris bipeds but my favorite lately has been Javelin Pro Hunter. It doesn’t stay on permanently, it replaces swivel stud and is held by a magnet. You put it on when you’re ready to shoot, made of very lightweight carbon fiber.

I have shot 200gr Barnes LRX with 104 gr H Retumbo @ 3200fps in the past. Shooting past 500 yards my groups would open up, so I tried 220gr H ELD-X with 103gr H Retumbo @ 3140 and shot very well past 500 yards. So you might want to give them a try. Keep watching Midway USA I caught Norma brass...
