RockyRandy
I've been born and raised on a farm in Idaho and hope to die there!!
Had a BB gun in my hands at 5 years old and have loved guns ever since. When i was a teenager i got a Ruger single six 22 pistol and thought i Butch Cassidy, from there i bought a Colt Python 357 which was not good on my ears but back in the 70's I was 6' 3" 170 lbs. and was invincible or so i thought and today i'm 80% deaf in high sounds!! Go figure. The last 10 years I have been bitten by the archery bug, There's nothing quit like calling an Elk into 30 yards from you. Archery has made me a much better shot with a rifle. I remember chasing a Antelope with a bow in one hand and a rifle in the other and couldn't get any closer then 350 Yards and finally gave up and took off my backpack and laid my rifle over it and shot him at 350 yards and thought to my self "that wasn't even that fun". So for today i will keep hunting with a bow but i have been bitten by the long range shooting bug. I'm building a long range corse on my farm today as we speak. As I have read many forms on LRH I've come to respect that there are some really smart and talented shooters out there and look forward to learning more from them.
