455 Supermag. What new Sig ranging binoculars are you referring to?

I did some searching and couldn't come up with anyone having that problem with the nanook action. Any links to this problem would be helpful.

I have been going back and forth between the Bat vesper and the kelbly nanook. It surprised me that Proof doesn't do a prefit for any Kelbly actions.

Looking for a 338 NM for hunting to shoot 300 gr. 24-28 inch barrel preferred but flexible on that.

Best I can tell the Norma has about 10 grain more capacity over a 300 prc. Does the sherman increase the capacity that much?

I can kind of see that with the Lapua. But, the Norma? It was made to shoot the 300 gr and the bullet is seated where it should be. I am not trying to argue, I really don't know. I am just trying to make sense and weigh all option equally.

I looked up bergers reload data on the 338 lapua with the 300 gr and it's calling for max velocity of 2704 with 570 in a 26 inch barrel. That's the fastest speed listed. Will the Sherman really out perform the lapua and norm?

Neither bothers me. I am not overly familiar with the sherman is all. Just trying to make the most with what I already have. Is there that big of an improvement with the Sherman over the Prc?

What about a 338 Prc? Doesn't the Sherman mag have a different shoulder and capacity?

Probably 24-27 inch. If I going to do that I want to stick with being able to use the 300 PRC brass I have.

Any thoughts on a 338 PRC/Campfire/Demon/Sherman? I have around 600 pieces of 300 PRC lapua and hornady brass. How would that compare? I know it won't be equal, but it would be an easier build. I have a Seekins 300 PRC I could have barrel put on.

I looks it might be easier to find a 338 Lapua and just have 338 NM barrel made for it. I guess then I would have both.

I have a 300 PRC, so I am looking for something that will shoot the 300 grain bullets. The 338 NM seems to be the cartridge from my research.
