This load is going to be my hunting load, so cold bore shots will be common. As far as barrel temp, I shot 6 rounds before the chrono test it was about 30 degrees and it probably sat for 10-15 minutes before testing. Thanks for all the responds, much appreciated!

I had the trigger stoned but not sure on the weight. I was actually thinking that it felt a little heavy on the pull.

All I'm looking to do is get a powder charge figured out at the range, then I will be going back to do a seating depth test later on. What data, if any, should I record as far as weather and conditions: temp, altitude, pressures? Also what yardage will get the best results 100, 200, 300? Thanks!!

I started with a torpedo level on my turret, I then aligned the anti-cant level with the torpedo level on the scope. I took a bubble level and put it on the rifle rail and made sure they were all level. I can't think of any reasons why my scope and rifle are not perfectly level with each other...

I bought some pillars from midway and was lining them up to check clearances. The back tang doesn't have much material left when I center the pillar hole with the hole on the stock. Also any idea what size drill bit I need to use? The thickness is .535 I was thinking 17/32 or 5/8. Thanks!!
