I am at 68.7 H1000. 26” barrel. 2965.

I have a 300 WSM on a long action and it feeds great with single stack mags. No work needed. I use both AI mags and Hawkins flush 3 round mags.

"Throated out" won't work for a 212-215 bullet in a 2.950 mag. It won't even fit in a 3.2" mag to have the boat tail above the neck shoulder junction.

Sig does the same thing. They need to be able to deduct the prize from net profit which a 1099 will do.

N568 would be too slow for the 7 PRC in my opinion. With a standard 300 Norma and 230's, it was drop tube territory to reach 2980 in a 26" barrel with 90 grains.

3070 was about pressure. 86 grains and some change.

2850-2900 would be asking a lot from a 338 NMI with a 26” barrel. A 338 Lapua Improved would be closer to what your after. 2750-2800 is more accurate speeds for the NMi.

Frank from Bartlein just stated that they won’t warranty any barrel with +P for multiple reasons. You take a massively overbore. 300 RUM. Run one of the hottest flame temp powders with a +P, with bullets having the longest bearing surface for caliber, and not surprised the lands were gone...
