I also had great results on a few pigs shooting 127g Barnes in my little known round 6.5 Creedmoor.

I use Barnes TTSX in my 300 Wby shooting 180g at 3,200 FPS. Getting sub .50 groups at 100 yards, and have shot steel out to 850. Took my first bull elk last season, quartering towards me, hit the shoulder passed through the back side rib, excellent results.

Ha, thank you Levi, it's a fun one. It shoots much better than I can, but I still manage to get less than .50. Not sure anything beats the Clymr stock, would highly recommend for any new custom builds.

Here is my 7 SAUM, and my first mule deer taken with it. Love it, but too **** expensive to shoot.

Maybe Weatherby comes out with a 7mm RPM? They could use a round that competes with the 7PRC.

I'm considering getting one of these chambered in 7MM 08. Its my understanding that they haven't been released in the US yet (according to my local dealer). I would like to know if anyone has had the opportunity to handle one or better yet shoot one. I would also like to hear about any other...

Off-topic question: Are caribou tough like elk or are they more like deer? Curious about what caliber rifle would/should be used.

I put a jewel trigger on a build and love it. It's feels better than the trigger tech and timney I have in other rifles.
