I appreciate the information you confirmed what I was already thinking I think I'm gonna re barrel my 6.5x55.would you happen to have some powders and charge wts to recommend along with the excellent bullets?

hey guys help me out here i got a rem.700 in 6.5x55 swede, what im trying to figure out is just how much of a differance 6.5x284 is than the swede? im gonna get a good barrel,trigger,stock etc. for the swede but that got me to thinking why not covert to the 284. this is gonna be a deer/hog gun...

Yeah I have the rifle and yes it shoots great but the barrel is a 22 incher, but I'm gonna restock the gun to get a longer reach of pull so I thought I may as well do a build and get a longer barrel new trigger, kinda trick it out some I'm loading 46gr. Of AA4350. Under 129gr. Sst getting about...

im thinkig about a lite varmint Douglas barrell mcmillian htc stock and a jewel trigger,you seem to know what your talking about what do you think? this rifle will be for deer and hog hunting.

Hey guys, I've got a 6.5x55 swede in a rem.700 action I want to re barrel and re stock the action but I don't know what the best barrel length would be to get the most performance from the round, I do hand load any help would be appreciated thanks

anybody out there loading 8208 xbr in 308? i tryed 42.8 grains under 165 sst and got some amasing groups at 100 all the way out to 500 just wondring if anyone else has tried this powder
