Thanks guys, I kinda figured it was more of a personal preference thing. I have a couple reloading manuals ive read over for the past couple months.

I'm thinking more of a savage lrp in 260 I'm just more of a bolt guy. Got an ar figured I'd love it and only shot it about 40 ends.

I don't think that's a thousand yard target. If so that Texan is one bad mother,well you know the rest. Nice rifle for sure.

Everyone talks about fur damage if you popping long range yotes that's just a chance we take. If your worried about this then call them in and CHOOT'EM with a. 17 hmr. The 243 is plenty good for deer out to a couple hundred yards and yotes way further.gun) I'll let you in on a little secret...

Tikka m55 in 243 win for now. Building me up a custom long range 243 for my night force. Plus I use my 308 on them to.no coyote safe for 1200 yards at least. Working on getting a 338 lap and yes I'll pop yotes with it.gun:cool:

Try out the .243 win! I love this caliber. Good for long range shooting or close and with all the bullet options nowadays don't let anybody tell you its just a (wee little varmint round).gun)
