How about a 338 RPM it will use that action and you could go to magnum magazine and bolt stop. Also a 35 whelen would be cool but not a real long range round due to low ballistic co-efficient.
I had one that was a 6-24x50 and they were swarovskis top of the line rifle scope. Im not sure what line they would compare to now but the glass was excellent. The adjustments on mine were 1/6th of a moa.
I rate mine #1. Nicest factory built rifle Ive ever owned. That being said mine is a sauer 90 not one of the newer models. I dont have any experience with them
I use devcon titanium putty. I use it to put in my pillars and to bed my action. I use kiwis neutral shoe polish for release agent with a super light skim of petroleum jelly on top of it. Ends up super thin and epoxy will not stick to it.
Mine is a sauer 90 in 7mm rem mag. which I already have and the other which I am bedding tonight is a 28 nosler, defiance anti x action, 26" spiral fluted benchmark barrel, Manners eh1 stock in midnight tack, m5 bottom metal and triggertech trigger.
My local dealer has a nosler model 21 in 30 Nosler. Im curious if anyone on here has any experience with one? My other option is to build a full custom, I thought the nosler 21 looked like a pretty good buy for the price. Any real world experience would be great, any issues other then the...
I have a 360 Imperial magnum which is .358RUM but with a 28 degree shoulder. This is where Remington got the RUM cartridges from. I shoot 250 grain speer hot cores out of it. Recoil is rather heavy from a 250 grain bullet going 3050 fps, so my only recomendation for you 358 STA is to put a good...
I had this happen last summer right before I was heading sheep hunting. I think I had a possible carbon ring form an inch or two in front of the chamber. After lots of solvent, patches and scrubbing it with a bronze brush. I got the suspected ring out. ( I could feel the tight spot with the...
He is lucky he still has fingers and eyes after that. My dad had a primer go off while priming cases in the early 80s and a single primer blew off 3 of his fingers. They re attached them but the tips of two of them couldnt be saved. It has always been a reminder about safety while reloading...
