1942 Dodge truck, 340 mopar engine with 3 deuces.

All 3 bulls were shot with the trusty old 30-06 at between 275 and 375 yards. The one old boy ran a bit after a shoulder hit but the other two dropped where they stood.

A lot of people don't like Nosler ballistic tips due to damaged meat. My friends hate them but they shoot at a lot of running deer and quite frankly are not great shots. My 2 boys and I have taken dozens of whitetails with 150 grain ballistic tips from 100 to 650 yards and only 1 or two took...

I will never be able to hunt cape buffalo but if I did it would have to be with a classic late 1800's double hammer rifle in 500 3" BPE with damascus barrels. Steel barrels and smokeless powder are just a passing fad.
