Wind seperates the shooters from the trigger tuggers.

I've never been a fan of 308 in less than 20" barrels....loses about 25fps/in reduction, in my experience.....16" loses ~100fps. Nitpicky at shorter deer ranges in many situations, but that's what I use 308 for. Just old geezer's preference, experience. Easy for one to hold for ballistic drop...

Looks like great fun, and great way to educate every hog in the county.....assuring they will always have hogs decimating the land, have hogs to hunt. That's a prime reason so many areas are over run with hogs.....hunting them, killing many, leaving some for seed, educating, breeding smarter...

Needed accuracy.....DUH...1MOH...1 minute of hog.... :) :) :) What one shoots on a zero check is usually shot supported from a stable bench. In the field, it only gets worse...never better.....add in unsupported, against a wind swayed tree/tree stand, moving animal, poor range guesstimate...

Limited range for extended distance shooting. It's a crutch for learning long range shooting skills. Just a smaller hand grenade for being about there. Learn once, happy ever after.
