You’re right though, a 50 BMG is just on the other side of lawful with the new changes.
I was just reading on another forum and saw that the Iowa Department of Natural Resources has confirmed that Iowa hunters can use necked cartridges now as long as they're 35 to 50 cal. This was formerly shotgun season and then they added straight walled cartridges and now some necked cartridges...
