SOLD/EXPIRED Nightforce BEAST FS MOA/MOA MOAR

Well, with the slow down in the oilfields I'm freeing up some cash. For sale is a Nightforce C450 BEAST 5-25x56 F1. Scope and glass are in perfect condition. Always carried in a Pelican case. Has been on 4 coyote hunts in the field, the rest has been shot from the bench on top of a .243. It...

    The 290 USA is here.

Looks cool, and I like the idea of bridging the gap. I also like new things not too many have so...I want one now lol. Have to wait for my first XP build to finish though. Good looking pistol.

    New March 2.5-25x52

The hunter version does not have a zerostop I believe?!

Which brand has best optical qualities, IYO

+1 For me, my hunting consists mainly of miles and miles on the boots. I wanted the best optics I could find and the lowest weight. I have not had the opportunity to look the the NF mentioned above, but if it is anything like me other NF scopes, it will be great. Only reason I did not go with...

    243 Lapua Brass Issues

Sounds like you need to bump the shoulders back, which is weird. I run Lapua through my 243 and have never had this issue. Have you reloaded any other brand of brass and had issues? Do you have a fired case and a way to measure head space? if so I would start there and compare the two.

Top 5 scopes if money was no object

For hunting; I really like March. I went 2.5-25x42 Tacticalas I do not like FFP for hunting. I always dial up. The scope weighs just 18oz compared to some over 3lbs. For tactical; I like my NXS 5.5-22, but love the new BEAST. Have not had the chance to shoot a Schmidt, USO, Premier (Tangent...

    Beast!!!

I really like it for hunting. The light weight and compact size are perfect for packing around. My complaints are what you will fin on the net. At top power, 25x on mine, the eyebox is really unforgiving. Not a huge deal shooting from a bench or long range at an animal, but it is an issue. The...

    Beast!!!

So far the scope is awesome. I really like the .5 MOA turret. Tracking is great for the limited testing I did that way. I shot a .303 5 shoot group with it and the 243 it's on. Top end magnification is really really clear. First round hit with it at 726 yards. Couldn't be happier.

    Beast!!!

I agree that it is heavy. It was not designed as a hunting scope. This is my coyote rifle and I probably put on more miles doing that than big game hunting just due to the fact you can hunt then when ever. My big game rifle wears a March 2.5_25x42 @ 18 oz. This scope is every bit as good as...

    Beast!!!

Haha the NXS I took off there was an older model without hs or zero stop. It is sold already though. I will hold on to my NXS scopes with hs and zero stop.
