Thanks to everyone for the replies. After reading the replies I believe the round doesn't rotate when you close the bolt. If in some cases it did it wouldn't affect accuracy anyway. This was just something I didn't know if there even was a correct answer and did it even matter. Thanks again.

Thanks again, hopefully I have this right. With a jammed load when you close the bolt the bullet will rotate inside the case neck?

Hello again, thanks to you all I nailed down my issue. Poor measuring on my part. Fired twice brass measures 3.815 with the comparator. Same measurement using a spent primer method. ( thanks dok7mm). I was actually bumping my shoulder to 3.810 which is the same as new brass. Two different lots...
