    I have had few opportunites where I can shoot prone. Most often sitting with my back to something, Exo pack pulled in close for a rear rifle rest and shooting sticks out front. Has been very stable and above the foliage of the PNW.

    Single point on lathe. Turned out great. Threaded a tikka barrel all the way with my hand. Now find a 20 inch 7mm PRC barrel

    Bear Rifle Optic Suggestions

    The VX-5 3-15 will easily cover out to 500 yds. As other stated an illuminated CENTER of the reticle is very nice against a black bear as the light fades away.
