I spoke to him today. Seems like a great guy. I’m not sending anything back, I’ll just shoot ‘em. It’s cosmetic stuff that doesn’t affect anything and it sounds like they’ve figured it out moving forward. I’m pretty excited about these bullets and plans to try some 7mm ones tomorrow
I guess something that nobody clarified here is that the single feed ones have weaker tips for opening at a lower velocity (longer distances)…but they are shaped identically and shoot the same as the mag feed ones.
It’s not like cutting edge “single feed” which are too long for magazines...
I actually tried washing them in alcohol to clean them up but they’re permanently stained. Obviously I don’t expect it to affect performance. My first batch look the same and they shot superbly.
I will say that the packaging and presentation leaves a little to be desired…basically they look gross with some sort of splotchy green oil…definitely not the esthetically pleasing look of a machined bullet. Also alcohol does not clean them up either.

I’ve shot the 30 cal 195’s in my 300 NMI and they were very accurate at 3175 FPS, but I only shot them to 600 yards. I bought a bunch more though.
I also would love for them to give us some sort of explanation about how the tip & cavity is made…obviously it looks to work but for some...
I am interested in seeing how they set this rifle up to angle the barrel up enough to get the bullet to go that far (not enough to read the article though).
Another interesting question on this subject is actually what is the maximum range that bullet will travel, regardless of how much angle...
I do shoot ELR matches and stuff like this makes ELR seem laughable.
Hit multiple targets in a match on the clock with only the allowed 3 or 5 shots per target and it’s impressive.
You want to see something impressive: Look at what Derek Love did last weekend to set the new cold bore world...

I use this one and I can actually clamp into my tripod with a bipod attached even
They also make a super light arca rail only if you prefer that
