I recently obtained correct headstamped 6.5mm-06 brass from Quality Cartridge. Midway also has it as a limited run. They haven’t had it for years. Many countries insist that headstamped ammo matches gun chambering in order to bring you gun into their boarders.
Several young kids have killed gobblers with my loaner 20 gauge with a red dot. I tell them to put the red dot on the red wattle and squeeze. Easy alignment for them. Just inexpensive Bushnell. Have one on a 3 1/2” mag for years without problems.
Good old Remingtons, probably better than todays. Almost impossible to get an original extractor if it breaks, but you can upgrade it. New triggers and stocks for 700’s may need minor modifications. Good old guns.

Quality Cartridge has 6.5/06 headstamped brass. Won’t show in stock on web site but they have it as of today. You need head stamped brass for travel to certain countries. They said it won’t last long.
I have successfully (carefully) removed labels from 1 pounders to do exactly what you are doing. You can put the label on any sized powder jug you can find.
