You're welcome.
You said "He was showing that with good equipment and practice it's possible to shoot as well at long distance as it is at "normal" hunting distances and methods."
He didn't demonstrate that in any way shape or form. He talked about it (I guess?). His targets didn't show me...
Nope... we didn't miss it, he didn't show it. Granted, I fast forwarded to the cringe part, but that doesn't matter. If you're going to put your "amazing talents proving how long range shooting is as easy as short range shooting" in a video and post it to the internet, don't fake recoil...
Out of curiosity I rearranged the sonic velocity equation to solve for temperature (deg F) and I got this (last row).
I used the average velocity for the calculation so if you're close to or below the temperature shown you'll want a load with a tight ES.
So what does it tell you? It tells you...
I have a few so maybe they figure that I can wait. This has already happened:

 I couldn't watch. The initial narration followed by the side by side with the targets was too much. What exactly were we supposed to see? And his 200 yard groups sucked. I wonder if he'd have had a better trigger pull if he used a logging chain tied to the bumper of his vehicle. And...
People are winning F Class matches (1000 yards) with the 7mm PRC and PRCW. Idk if I'd call it hype. That's a fairly high bar. BUT... it's not hunting and hunting conditions. I like my 7mm Rem Mag. I might buy a 7PRCW some day... might not.
Someone (maybe here) said that type of scale drifts on the 0 weight end. Meaning take the pan off after calibrating, write the reading down. Put the pan on. Let it zero. Repeat. The no pan number varies for some apparently. I forget what the ES and SD for the pan off number was but it was in the...
Take a look at the TRX-925 It's not as pricey as the 120I+trickler. Not as convenient either but I recently loaded 500 6.8 SPC round with it and it did great. I drop with an RCBS Chargemaster and confirm with the TRX. Most times the Chargemaster needs it...
Today? Powder, primers, and projectiles. I used to have enough... then, once again, the insane have taken over the asylum and we find ourselves back in the same predicament as the last time.
