I guess I assumed there was some moisture in there from the initial loading, (humidity in the air) maybe not enough to matter?

Maybe since the air in the cartridge is the same temperature as the case, it doesn't condensate?

If there is sufficient moisture inside the case, I think that when the cartridge cools …..there will be condensation formed inside...

For the rifle I'd give serious consideration to a Tikka T3x Lite in a 7mm Rem mag. Tikkas are extremely accurate and weight friendly.
