    6.5 Creedmor- the Holy Grail?

143 ELDX bullets blow up and make a huge mess out of a Pronghorn if any bone is hit on the entrance side. A perfect broadside heart / lung shot and the stomach exploded. I saw it twice this year 300 and 400 yrd shots.

    6.5 Creedmor- the Holy Grail?

I just witnessed a cow Elk go down with one well placed shot from a 6.5Cm at 370 yards. Down right there. I have a 6.5 Cm, but my choice for Elk is a 7STW. It produced the same result, down right there. If you can't shoot worth a ****, stay home.

Been a while since Ive got on the forum, hows it going men? I was going to work up a load for 168 gr Berger VLDs using H1000 and found that the Berger and Nosler load books have quite a different range of starting and max loads. Nosler's max is 80 gr for ABLR 168 at 3.600 col. Berger is 76.5gr...

Will your next rifle scope be MOA or MIL? **OLD POLL**

Mil Is not really metric. A milrad is a fraction of a circle. 360 milradians per 360 degrees. I have two scopes in mils and the math is easier because its broken down in tens, similar to metric. scope is in .1 mil clicks. As long as the reticle matches the turrets either way is ok. Mil reticle...

    Adding a brake

I have heard it said that putting a rifle on a lead sled will stress it differently than shooting it with a bipod and a rear bag.

I had some lee dies that would not make a round with less than .006" runout. I now have the redding competition bushing die set. All rounds are .001" less runout.I am still experimenting with bumping the shoulder or just neck sizing. recent tests suggest that bumping the shoulder results in...

    Which Dies for the STW

Im using Redding Competition dies. These are one of the best made.Pricey, but make perfectly straight ammo. Seated bullet runout will make good grouping impossible. Started with Lee dies. They were junk. all rounds had .005"-.006" runout.

    G7 br2

Why does it not read in mils also? like the ballistics calculator?

    Len, Are You Really Serious?

When are they going to make it read in mils? The ballistics calculator does,Is this not the same software?

No more vectronix terrapin, now what?

I'd be happy with the G7 if it would read in mils or moa. I have milrad scopes and don't want to convert bdc or moa to mil for that cost.
