    Okay I'ave killed a few elk (6) & moose (3)& 250+LB on hook mulies (4) bullets were all 160gr with 7stw speer grandslams , partions, tsx and 225 accubond with 338wm Theres not much chance for longer then 200m shots here with the bush elk with stw nosler partion/speer...

    thats a interesting idea on keeping the yellowjackets/flys away , I have that problem with my sept elk hunt , a spray bottle with some vinegar and water works but u need one guy shooting :D

    well you do have 200 win brass now , you can buy the same 140 bullets then just copy the oal & fps if u have a chronie from the factory ammo to your reloads .. it may just shoot as good or better

    I have 7mag dies , do u set it as usual to bump it? or do u just do a FL size? I havnt seen new stw win brass here (canada) in 10yrs My other problem is my throat , max oal to load in my gun is about 3.645 BUT I dont touch the lands till 3.702 ...with a .20 (3.682)jump Iam still .37 to long !!

    thanks , yah I new it was pretty loose from the measurements ,just wondering if it was real bad , my cases expand quite alot(length & width) from new brass , I seen the ring and was worried about head separation ..I have a 338wm and its fine has anyone used the body collet to resize there...

    Has anyone used RL25 with a 160gr ? I was wondering what its like for temp sensitivity, I test loads in 60dg but hunt in 0-, -10 or what have u used in a similar situation
