The flattest shooting cartridge I own is my 270 Weatherby Mag, shooting a 130 Grn Ballistic Tip at 3300fps, or the 150 Grn ABLR at 3000 fps. if the range is from 100 to 500 yards The flattest shooting cartridges I can think of at the moment ,are 7mm PRC .or the 6.5 X 300 Weatherby.

The Hunt is a New Mexico or Colo Elk hunt !! The rifle is my Weatherby Mark V Rifle, in 300 Weatherby Mag. Leupold 4.5X to 14 X , with Custom Turret to match the load. Load will be something close to a 180 Grn Partition, at 2900/3000 fps. And!!!! get myself down to 190 pounds!!!
