Makes sense. Exterior ballistics is vital for target shooting but hunting is another thing, we need to start to think about terminal ballistics, bullet performance, etc.
Barnes TTSX all day long, but Accubonds are GTG too. Let's say it's hard to fail with a well placed shot with most bullets, the trick comes when hitting bones and that's what separate the really good ones from the mainstream offerings.
Because the real good ballistics engines are far from being cheap, the usual crap is useless (Leica et al) and maybe Nikon management don't see the need to spend a dime on a good one.
