For me the perfect thing would have a 60° bolt with a bolt lock on the tang like browning and savage, be 700 stock compatible, maybe controlled round feed. Also have a 4.000" dbm availability.
Exactly this. I am lucky enough to have a old machinist and bench rest shooter that does rifle barrel jobs 10 min from my house. He only does work from word of mouth and not online. I never have to wait more than a month for a tight manual fit job (no prefit generic stuff, I know mine always...
Hello all, looking to buy a cheaper fl set of 7mm ultra mag dies. Preferably RCBS, but open to others. I don't need top quality dies for this. Just something to load up some ammo for a friend that can't find any factory ammo. Let me know what you have and how much you need for them.
Thanks,
Kyle
They should shoot great in the MMP .458 sabots. I've been using the .458 sabots with 300 grn barnes tsx bullets for almost 20 years and they have shot good in every ml I've tried them in. Hammers should do even better.
Same thing here with savages. I even got one for hunting Africa because they are cheap and shoot so good. Didnt want to have an expensive gun stolen over there.
Check one of the Scheels stores by you. When I have been in Sioux Falls and Rapid City they seemed to have several lefty rifles around. Even Bismarck and Fargo if they are clsoer for ya.
You really aren't giving up much. No vertical in groups tells all at the longest ranges. A known velocity only gives you a place to start and drops with a ballistics app. Some like to know the velocity differences from shot to shot, but the vertical in groups tells all in the end.
