My fliers were commming from the 377 mtac Exp 3's....I just loaded up some more 400 gr MTH's Exp 2's for the 8.25 twist. The good news is that it should not take too much work to find the node because I've already played with 50BMG. I will be back at the range on Thrs to do some initial testing...

Augustus, Im getting ready to load up some Cutting Edge 377 gr MTAC's for my 375 snipe tac...Do you have any load data from your 370's?? Powder and charge would be great!! Im also loading the Cutting Edge 402 gr MTAC's tomorrow for the 375 snipe tac, but have enough data for these... thanks

LR3,,, Just to clarify........ Dave's test with the GS 414 solid was done at 1150 yards, not 1400...And it was initally a 2 shot group that yielded a 2 inch group. He ran out of bullets so he went back to the shop and loaded 2 more, shot them and it spread out to a 4 inch group.....Not bad...

Yea, I agree....I just like to post the data to keep others in the loop...The berger isn't the BC everyone thought, but it still seems to be a heck of a bullet at lapua and edge speeds. I hope they can get the next bullet to shoot at faster speeds for the snipe tacs and allan mags. zman

I use a very big slab break from Defensive Edge...My ten year old son shoots it, so it's really mild. Not sure how it would feel without the break though..Probably kick like a mule......I long range hunt and shoot and always wear plugs. I find the break gives me that added accuracy that I need...
