    Question for all

In Montana, I'd want a .30 caliber just in case you meet a Griz. I'd do a 300wm or a 300 prc. I'm assuming elk, deer, moose and bear hunting? I have a Seekins Havak 300 prc that is my pack rifle; perfect combo of weight vs shootability for me.

    Dillon 550 Question

Okay so you only use 2 dies on the 550? Yes. I'll de prime in the first station (then do the rest of my brass prep; cleaning, trimming...) and then have a seating die set up. I set multiple seating dies on each Dillon tool head, such as .308, .260, 6.5 Creedmore on one, .223 and 300bo on...

    Dillon 550 Question

I use my 550 for rifle. I use it as a "single stage" unit when loading for accuracy. I will size brass, then prime, then drop powder from a chargemaster and load the projectile.

WHAT OPTICS ARE YOU USING ON YOUR MINI-14?

I sold my Mini 14 because it was minute of barn accuracy. I had a straight 4x on it and killed more rabbits than I can count. I kind of miss it because it was unstoppable as in never a malfunction.

I've been complaining about all the snow in Wyoming...but on second thought, I think I like it here.

TBAC Ultra 5.30 Barrel Adapter Search

ZReed85 gave you good advice. If it's a long range accurate rifle, Thunderbeast would tell you to buy a break for it. If you have any questions, just call Thunderbeast directly and they will answer your questions.

    Favorite 22lr Bulk Ammo?

I have five kids, so my approach is a little different now. I buy in 2k to 5k lots of ammo. I have enough Ruger 10/22's and bolt 22's that one will usually like the ammo. If not, I burn it up in the pistols. I have had good luck recently with some 40 gr Winchester, Remington Golden bullet...

    What would you do?

I'd go at least a .30 caliber for 1000 yard elk (28 Nosler would do fine as well). I would get a 300 PRC (I have one in a Seekins Havak PH2). If you hand load, a 300wm or a 300 PRC would be great. I would look into the 200+ grain bullets. I have taken an elk at around 750; it was a cow...

    SILENCERCO SCYTHE-Ti

I have a Scythe; I wrote an initial comparison on it to some of my other cans: https://www.longrangehunting.com/threads/syco-scythe-tbac-9-and-griffin-compared.350628/. It is a pretty nice suppressor, what questions do you have?

SyCo Scythe, TBAC 9 and Griffin Compared

I was lucky enough to get a Silencer Co Scythe approved in three months (no, I'm not dating an ATF agent). Two guys ordered cans at the same shop as me and one is 7 months still waiting, the other is 9 months still waiting for approval. Several people locally and on forums have asked how it...

    New ELR build help

I'm not "consistent" at a mile as I practice a few hundred yards beyond what I will allow myself to shoot at game. I occasionally shoot at super long ranges because it's fun but the wind is the deciding factor on my consistency. A 300 Norma improved with heavy bullets would be good. I have...

    Howa Chasis

A chassis is a different animal. Some people can't get used to it but I took to it like a fish to water. Most chassis are very adjustable, so you can make it fit you. I'd try to meet someone that has one or at least try one out at a gun store. With the adjustability of the chassis, I got it...
