I run Ramshot magnum at 79.0grs with either the 180 t t s x 175gr l r x. Shoots great. Need a 1-9.5 or faster to see the real Preformance from the 200 gr l r x. The 175 at that velocity will do as well or better than the 200.
I’ve tested it for temp stability and found it to do well. Barnes also tested it and found it to do well also. Where I live I have the ablity to test from 20- 110 degrees and the worst variation I’ve found is 20 FPS.
Have been using it since it first came out. Tested it for them when I ran a shop and been using it ever since. I find it to be very temp stable. Plus gives good velocity and accuracy.
Good for Leupold for getting another military contract. Hope it works out. But not all of their products are made here. I also believe their glass comes from Japan like other companies. As to the gentleman losing his gun that’s terrible. That’s why we can’t camp on the southern border here...
I have read the m s d s, plus they’ve gone to a global m s d s guide line. I wear gloves plenty of ventilation and keep ignition sources out of the way. Use the green label because it’s not as bad on plastic or wood stocks. By the way brichwood Casey gunscruber is the same stuff.
I’ve never had problems using brakeklean. But use the one with the green label. Works great to neutralize sweets and other cooper cleaners. Also for removing and softening carbon fouling.
Like I’ve said before Ramshot magnum or h1000 . When you find either buy in bulk. R l 22 , i m r was too temp instable. H 4831 didn’t give the velocity I was looking for.
