In my 300 wsm, 200 ELDX is about 65gr at 2900ish, 178 ELDX is about 68gr at 3100ish. Both loaded to mag length. I worked off of the hornady book for the charge. Both were WAY faster than described in the book

One powder I’ve had great luck with in the 300 wsm is superformance. It’s not a popular option, making it easier to find, but it sends180-200gr bullets fast with very decent accuracy.

Best advice I’ve heard, “don’t skimp on glass. You’ll always wish you had better”. I would take quality over power any day of the week. That 3.5-10 leupold would be sweet out to 4-500 yds

It was definitely with superformance. I got nothing short of awesome velocity and good accuracy with it in my wsm. Tried it in a few other calibers and got mixed results, but the 300 sure likes it

Absolutely, it seems to to shoot well and isnt a super popular powder making it more available than others. Everything in my 300 wsm is way faster than the book numbers and produces pretty decent groups. Tested 178 w/ 66 - 68.5gr. Best load was 68 gr @ 3111 fps average.

Checked my notes on this one. 300 wsm, 200 gr ELDX, 65 gr superformance. @70 deg, 2938 fps. @21 deg, 2909 fps

I don’t have any experience with 6.5x284 but I’ve used superformance powder a bit. my 300 wsm loves it, Shoots good groups and by far the fastest I tested 178-200gr. Was also well above book velocity for all weights. I’ve also tried it in 6.5 cm 129-143gr, my major take away there was it pushed...

For $20 I would say, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! Well done!

Reporting back. Found a few decent loads. Everthing was with 3 shot groups with 6.5 cm, 130 ELD-M, new Nosler brass, CCI LR primers, and Staball 6.5 -44.1 gr @ 2.760”, 2750 fps, 5 sd, 10 es. Produced a fantastic group -43.8 gr @ 2.760”, 2723 fps, 7 sd, 13 es. Another good group -44.4 gr @...
