I shoot a custom 6mm rem. It has a 1:8 twist medium varmit barrel,26 inch. if i could have put a heavier barrel on it i would have, but i was limited by the stock. I think If I was to start from scratch. I would go with a heavier barrel, but leave it at 24". just not burning that much powder...

hey bud, yea pretty short barrell, but you could try some powders even a little faster than 4350. If you have a chronograph, it would help you see whats going on .

Yea, Im old school. My dad was stock builder and a costom reloader. He used to make ammo for 22-250, when it was a wild cat. He had a shop in santa fe NM. I still use brass stamped 250 savage, for my 22-250.
