Do not get the steel tipped ones. Having done this comparisson id go with the Berger. In the essence of fairness i havent tried the aluminum tipped 230 w3p yet, It may stabilize in a standard 10 twist.....but the velocity winner (if its a concern) will still be the Berger, with the shorter...

Yes, for sure.............I have read a few places that Remington dont have any plans to produce brass for the reloader, its all going to loaded ammo right now..............well it seems the ammo craz has setteled down a bit over the last year (with yhe exeption of 22lr, which still amazes me)...

Sportsmans had some Remington 165 grain solid copper ammo, 39.99, I bought 3 boxes myself, sad that is what its come to, buying new ammo for brass, but it dont seem its gonna get better anytime soon atleast in the ultra mags.

Im also in the. Applied Ballistics, and Shooter camp. Shooter is what I use most in the feild but I havent really stretched out to stupid long yet, where the custom drag curves in AB will really shine.

Edit........basically what Lefty said...... Roy, what about a new brake, made out of Aluminum, and finished to the barrel contour. That should be worth a few oz I would think. Do that and go to the SHV with the MOAR and im sure youd make it.
