i am leaning towards the 243 ackley myself

the 6.8 western sounded good but i have a 270 wsm and a 7mm prc

looking to rebarrel it in either 243ackley 6mm credmoor 257 ackley or plain 243 mainly predators up to javelina have lots of brass in 243 6.5 creed and 257 any recomidations

i'm starting to reload a 7mm/08 for a friend he has a ruger 77 but it's got a 16 inch barrel i've read different powders to use but with the short barrel can you still use imr 4350 or varget with good results or do you have to use a faster powder he wants me to handload the nosler 140 grn...

thanks for your help its a friends father's rifle only uses it in wisconsin for deer i do have a lot of w760 6.5 staball imr 4350 h4350 varget might try 120 grn nosler instead

i am looking at the new fierce rogue in 24 inch barrel in 7mm prc is there a big difference in volocity and footpounds between the 22" and the 24" barrel all the ones i've seen are either 22" or 20" and even 18"

i was interested in a left action rifle i read somewhere to check out this company they make a left handed tikka action with a proof barrel i was checking if anyone had work or heard of them thanks larry

is 26 to long for the 7mm prc

question which is the better barrel they are both 24" carbon fiber one is a christensen for$ 700 the other is a proof research for $900
