Has anyone used the 139 grain 6.5 MM Lapua Scenar for long range work. If so how did it perform and did you use it on any deer size critters. I am currently working with a 6.5x55 and I really like the BC numbers for this bullet.

I just picked up some of the 162 grain Hornady A-Max to try in my .280 Ackley Improved and 7MM Remington Magnum. Has anyone tried this bullet in these (or similar) calibers? Also, has anybody tried this bullet on deer?

Another vote for the .280AI. Its one of the finest cartridges I've ever used.
