    I had heard that previously about Leica as well, but saw a couple more recent positive interactions on another forum. And I agree - genuinely hope SIG gets their CS buttoned up. They're putting out lots of interesting products that I would like to try with confidence.

    Hard to go wrong with a 243, 6.5CM or 7mm-08. It's always appeared to me that the stock fit and practice are more important than caliber.

    Might be worth holding out for a new Tikka T1x. No official accuracy reports yet, but I'm not sure Sako could make a bad barrel if they tried.

    Newbie and optics

    Take a look at the Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42 also. Great glass, two solid reticle options and 16.5oz. I have the 2-10 and love it. Also, if you're not in a hurry and don't mind MILs, GA Precision has another order of Bushnell LRHS 4.5-18 scopes inbound. For $750 you can't beat the value.
