I am interested in buying my first AR to be used for coyotes out to 300 yds. I was looking at the RRA ATH but was wondering if I could build one cheaper but with the same 3/4 moa accuracy ? If so, what is the secret to AR accuracy and which componets should I use for a diy ?

I own a very accurate long range rifle, in 7mm wsm, that was built by Kevin Rayhill of Nebraska. He highly recommended a benchmark barrel to me prior to the build so I went with it and could not be happier. As for a sales pitch, consistent sub 1/2 moa accuracy !

With 168g Bergers my rifle likes 66g Retumbo & Fed 215m primers. Shoots sub 1/2" groups. Hope this helps.gun)

I also have a Savage 7mm wsm built by Kevin Rayhill that shoots awesome. 66g of Retumbo behind the 168g Berger VLD shoots 1/2 groups. You may want to try working up loads with other powders. Good Luck

I just completed some work on a fiberglass stock and the entire stock is as smooth as glass. Prior to having the stock painted with cerkote I wanted to give it a uniform texture similar to an orange peel. Does anyone know how I could accomplish this ?
