..I've used basically nothing but 9 1/2's in every hunting firearm I own for 6 decades...not once did I ever have a misfire or issue any...from .243 to 416rm and just about everything imaginable in-between. great primers in my opinion..

Reason I was asking the world record Amur was taken from Glendale lake about 5 miles from my house and haven't heard about any more being caught in decades..

Just a few pics of spring time in Elk Country in PA....Some Bulls are really sproutin' them out while others refuse to give up last years..go figure. Cows are getting heavy and mothers day will shortly be here....some great chain saw carvings at the annual festival in Ridgeway this week, nice...

That old dead horse .308win along with 165 grain Sierras will handle the vast vast majority of all your hunting needs anywhere on the planet, guaranteed ! You do your job and that ole' gal will more than do hers....somewhere along the line we've been bamboozled by marketing gimmick cartridges...

..165 Sierras are the perfect match for that .308 size case and there a darn good hunting bullet also....

..it eventually bothers everyone whether they admit or not ! I've found that taking blood thinners caused myself to cut way back on shooting the big warhorses...no fun seeing your arms black and blue from your shoulder to your wrist.... love them big bangers !
