I’ve got a day at the beginning booked with Montana Angler.. and the plan is to buy a cheap fly rod and some bits and keep it in the truck as we’re driving round. I’ll get a license and some advice off the guide of where I can fish and hopefully might get a few opportunistic casts in

Yeah.. I mean I’m probably more into hunting/shooting/long range, but have always fished and do enjoy it.. I did think about floating the idea of a MT honeymoon in elk season, but think I may have had a little more resistance!! 😂😂

In terms of exploring trails etc and navigation generally, what sort of cell signal and 4G should I expect? Are there any good maps etc that people would recommend for trails and general navigation without internet/4G?

In terms of taking trails.. are they well mapped or signposted? I’d hate to find myself off the beaten track and having to do a u-turn or get lost.. love the idea though!
