I have just received a new Winchester, model 1895 chambered in 405WCF. I have put a Skinner on it, but still having trouble getting less than 6 inch groups of five at 100yds. Shooting 300gr Barnes over 40gr MIR4198.

Hello, I have been shooting for a few years and would like to try my aim at longer range targets. I have a new Winchester 1886 in 45-70 and a 1999 Winchester 1895 in 405WCF. I have only shot up to 200yds so far, but we have one range that stretches out to 650yds and I would like to try that...

I have a few levers and they are all in 45LC and work very well for CAS. I still need a model 94 and have been thinking of what caliber to get it in. I believe I will go with the 30-30 as it is original and a pretty good round for plinking and hunting.
