I wear double hearing protection at work. I work on aircraft so I know what you mean. Most my hunting is done by bow. But like I said earlier I alwasy do when at the range or when just out shooting. I need to find something that I can use while hunting so that I can hear all the small things...

Not hunting, but always when just shooting. Whether at a range or just out and about.

That's what I have been noticing every on the internet. Seems like the biggest thing is personal preference . I'll have to email him and ask.

Lots of good info in the article and this thread. Looking at building one myself now. Was going to just try to buy a gun and use it, but really considering this route now. On to more reading now.
