    What base layers that offer Scent control:work best?

    Merino wool here as well. They seem to build up smell less than synthetic. As others mention too, so many other scent carriers on the body. Playing the wind is always you best bet.

    Big Agnes copper spur for me. Pack a small tarp just in case I get caught out somewhere.
