    Rimfire Scope Help

i checked on this deal and while the scope is appealing, i found the shipping costs to be prohibitive. (at least as far as I'm concerned)

    Barrel length needed ??

i seem to recall a test done by Ruger (?) and for some reason i seem to recall that the ideal length was 16" or 19" for max FPS from the 22 LR cartridge. many, if not most, of today's M4/AR carbines and ruger 10/22 barrels come in 16" lengths. (My Spikes ST-22 M4 has a 16" barrel)

    Do You Shoot Archery Competition?

started off in the late 70's and ended up by shooting in the NFAA national championships in 1985 in Darrington Washington along with my youngest son. since then, I've shot/hunted mostly traditional up to today. :)

    Need an Accurate 22lr/17hmr/22mag

I'd have to go with CZ's...(Not cheap though) with the correct ammo and some trigger adjusting, they're easy to make into "Tack drivers"

    Rimfire Scope Help

IMO, FWIW...unless you are doing precision rimfire, target shooting at rimfire ranges (under 100 yards and more than likely 50 yards) anything over 4x is wasted. i have Leupold Vari-x RF special scopes mounted on two very highly accurate CZ rifles that, more than, meet the needs; neither is...

    22LR conversion!!

i have the Spikes tactical ST-22, a dedicated .22lr AR...it is reliable, accurate to a "T" and rugged. i can ask no more. it's simple an upgraded M4 and well worth the, near, $1000 price...walther target grade barrel, chrome bolt, etc. unfortunately, they are no longer available at this...

    Semi Auto 22 Magnum

.22 WMR's in semi auto seem to be a little hard to get...would a good lever or bolt gun work? CZ, marlin and savage make some really good .22 WMR's

CCI CB Long VS. Rem. CBee 22 - Quiet ammo showdown

have you tried the Remington sub-sonics? i didn't see them listed. 38 gr HP, 1049 fps @ the muzzle with 93 ft lbs energy at the muzzle...

    need help with pellet guns.

all good advice given above. here's another suggestion: make sure of all connections, in the stock and the optics, are tightened properly make sure the pivot bolt is securely tightened (This WILL cause drifting accuracy problems in break-barrel air guns...especially the magnum springers.)...

    PCP or pre charged

the Benjamin discovery is a great PCP air rifle from all I've read about it. i have the Benjamin Marauder in .25 caliber. if you want a 'shrouded' PCP, go for the Marauder. it's more expensive but worth the difference. i do not know if optics may be employed on the Discovery as it is...

Do you use an adjustable cheekpiece on your rifle?

i use them on some of my rifles and even a ruger p9 9mm carbine. why? i don't know, but it took me quite a while to figure out the "Eye to sight" alignment that is crucial in getting optimum accuracy from ANY sighting system.
