    Sennybridge F range visit

[ QUOTE ] This was dialled in and the first round was on target but left a meter giving a puff of dust half a MIL into the wind and down it went on the very next shot! [/ QUOTE ] If you are using a mil dot scope, did you try to range the target with the scope? All you need to know is the...

    Things you eat........Or not

Best thing I've ever ate is Jalapeno garlic Talapia. Worst thing is probably elk liver cooked on a stick hanging over a campfire. The strangest thing (but oddly enough certainly not the worst) was porcupine. I normally like anything but have to draw the line at tripe, tongue and rhubarb pie!

If you could only have one gun...

[ QUOTE ] I'm not sure about on the grill but it's tough to beat a big plate of fried nuts!!!! [/ QUOTE ] They're even better on the grill, Bill. (grill bill--sounds likes my monthly statement from Lowe's ) The grill cooks the heck out of the outside but leaves the inside nice and juicy

If you could only have one gun...

buffalobob I can't speak for Bill Bailey but I will take a fresh plate of calf fries anytime! 'Specially when they're hot off the bbq grill and just a little bit runny That's a poor mans caviar!!! I would have to agree with those who said a 308 Winchester. It is about as versatile as any...

    Total long range beginner

Do what I did and I think you'll be pleased. I bought a Savage rifle from Bill Bailey. Put a tactical bolt knob, a SSS trigger, Farrel base, Burris Extreme tactical rings, a Super Sniper scope, a Choate Sniper stock for tactical shooting and a Sharpshooter Centerfire stock for LR coyote and...

    Accurate Brass Poll

[ QUOTE ] Give this guy a break. Why not go w/the innocent until proven guilty approach. It's not like he's ripped any of us off. No sense in burning bridges before you know where they lead. [/ QUOTE ] Very well said! Give the guy a chance to get on his feet a little. When brass is...

    Super Sniper

I also have a 10, am gearing up to get a 16 for another project. Kirby (fiftydriver) suggested the SS to me so I bought one. It is an incredible scope! I wish I had one on every rifle I own. I think it will hold up as well as anything out there!

    Being married to a teacher.....

As a matter of fact, Redbone, that is exactly where I'm going. Leaving Saturday the 3rd, driving straight through, and staying for about 5 days. Are you near there? Do you have any lodging suggestions (something nice but not $200 a night nice)?

    Being married to a teacher.....

[ QUOTE ] Sound advise even if you wife is not a teacher. [/ QUOTE ] Yes it is! I'm actually taking her to The Ozarks next week. I'll see if I can find her a day spa or something. I don't remember being a PITA to my teachers when summer got near but I probably was. She comes home from...
